time. NRLO is proud to have the Bernalillo Reserve Deputies as
A 100% Member Department.

Looking for
Vounteers
The Bernalillo County
Sheriff's Department Reserve Division is looking for motivated
volunteers for their Reserve Academy classes. Training is
approximately 16 weeks. This is some of the best Law
Enforcement training in the state, provided by full-time Law
Enforcement Officers. This is a great way to volunteer
assistance to your community.
Upon graduation, you will serve 16 hours
per month as a Reserve Deputy and attend one meeting each
month. You will wear a Reserve badge and uniform, carry a
weapon, and will assist Regular Sheriff's Deputies in the
performance of their duties. If you are interested, motivated,
and enjoy challenges, please contact the Reserve Division recruiting
coordinator.

Hurricane Katrina Bernalillo County Public Safety Team Deployed to
Assist Law Enforcement and Relief Efforts in
Louisiana
ALBUQUERQUE - Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White
led a deployment of 25 Sheriff's Deputies to Jefferson Parish, LA to
assist with local Law Enforcement and relief efforts for the
devastated area. Accompanying Sheriff White was five
Bernalillo County Firefighters with EMT training to assist local Law
Enforcement with medical and life support
services.
NRLO and its nation-wide
Members salute you, Sheriff White; and we are proud to introduce you
and your Reserves to the rest of the nation.

President Bill Rehm
BACKGROUND SUMMARY:
Retired
December, 2000, with twenty plus years of Law Enforcement experience
with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department and with the
Albuquerque Police Department. Over ten years of Police
management experience. Specialities include traffic accident
investigation and reconstruction, auto theft investigations, special
weapons and tactical team, and Police course instruction.
INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND ACTIVITIES:

Law Enforcement Academy Certified to Instruct: Traffic
Accident Reconstruction, Traffic Accident Investigation, Traffic
Enforcement, Auto Theft, Evidence, Legal/Criminal Laws, Search and
Seizure, General Police, Field Training Officer, Police Officer as
Prosecutor, Firearms, Interview and Interrogations, and
Photography. (Certificate expires January, 2007)
