The Patrol Car
is a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria. Phil has shared his car with
Departments and organizations around the country supporting the
Memorial in Washington with the DC FOP and National Police Week
every year, escorting thousands of motorcycles to all three crash
sites finishing in NYC, escorting Rolling Thunder each year, "Dare"
days for kids all over Virginia and North Carolina and has also
done much with Survivors and COPS.
Phil told NRLO,
"Its been great being part of the Law
Enforcement community even at this capacity, though I feel I would
like to represent a department or agency permanently with this
car. Most are shocked that I am a civilian and doing this for
the love and support of Law Enforcement. It's my way of saying
"thank you" to all of the heroes here and
gone. We have made many great friends, most of which I hope
become life-long relationships. We have touched the hearts of
many, and they have touched mine so
much."
