The New Albany Auxiliary Police is 12 Officers strong under the leadership of Chief of Police David B. Groves.  Unit Leader President Bill Clemons makes sure that each Auxiliary Officer gets the best training possible in order to meet the high standards which projects a positive image in New Albany. Unit Leader Clemons states that in order to have full powers of arrest, the Auxiliary must take all other full-time Officers training and must qualify with firearms twice a year.
