The New Albany
Auxiliary Police is 12 Officers strong under the leadership of
Chief of Police David B. Groves. Unit Leader President Bill
Clemons makes sure that each Auxiliary Officer gets the best
training possible in order to meet the high standards
which projects a positive image in New Albany. Unit Leader
Clemons states that in order to have full powers of arrest, the
Auxiliary must take all other full-time Officers training and must
qualify with firearms twice a
